The exhibition 'On the Move:  NYC and Beyond' features landscape and street photographs by Piotr Olszewski exploring the relationship between space and time. Taken in New York City, Arizona, Texas, and other states between 2010-2024, they offer a reflection on seemingly contrasting environments that make up our country.

How does the ceaseless flow of energy of New York City streetscape compare with the wide, sweeping scenery of Arizona or Nevada? The same country, the same nation, but many different worlds. Artist Piotr Olszewski says: “I try to make sense of it, equipped with my digital camera, I search for connections between our city and the rest of the country. Maybe we can just accept it as it is, and admire both the beautiful and the ugly, and enjoy the vastness of the Arizona desert as well as the magnitude of the Manhattan buildings.”
